Hulu has debut the first teaser for Marvel's Runaways Season 2, giving fans a hint of what's coming next for the team of rebellious teenage superheroes. All of the episodes of the season will be released on Dec. 21.

With a few lines of dialogue, the trailer recaps the premise of the show: Six teens, after discovering that their parents belong to an evil cult called the Pride, decide to band together and leave their homes. It appears that their ambitions are now growing beyond mere escape, as Karolina (Virginia Gardner) tells her friends, "We're not them. We can fix the world that they broke."

By the look of it, the Runaways won't be catching a break from their familial enemies in Season 2. Fans can look forward to some dizzying fight scenes, as well as the discovery of a new home base, and relationships evolving, like the romance between Karolina and Nico (Lyrica Okano). There's also a showcase of powers, from Molly (Allegra Acosta) using her super-strength to Chase (Gregg Sulkin) wielding his Fistigons. And everyone will be glad to see an appearance from the genetically altered dinosaur Old Lace.

As the teens enter their hideout in the trailer, a handwritten message can be seen on the wall which reads, "No you're not the light of the world but you shine on me." Although it comes without context, viewers can likely expect that the characters' struggles throughout the season will hinge on that theme.
