As the children of several of the Marvel Universe's notorious supervillains the Runaways have strived hard to distance themselves from their parents' insidious legacies. However, this April, the young team may finally have pushed themselves too hard.

Ahead of the release of its advance solicitation information for titles going on sale this April, Marvel Comics has provided details on Runaways #32 by Rainbow Rowell and Natacha Bustos. Led by their new mentor Doc Justice, the team will be caught in an epic battle that is guaranteed to bring major changes to the impressionable teenage ensemble moving forward. Details for the upcoming issue, along with the cover illustrated by Kris Anka, are below.

  • The most battle-heavy issue of RUNAWAYS (and possibly ANY COMIC EVER) is here, and you won’t believe your eyes. Doc Justice and the J-Team (i.e. the Runaways) has their most dangerous mission, and it does not end well for anyone. The Runaways end this issue very, very different from where they started it.

Under Doc Justice's leadership, the Runaways rebranded themselves as the J-Team, becoming Los Angeles' premier super-team. However, judging by the solicits, the group may have let their newfound success bring them to conflict that puts them in over their heads.
