Marvel's Runaways actor Kip Pardue is accused of sexually assaulting an actress on the set of a television pilot.

Sarah Scott told the Los Angeles Times that Pardue became aroused as the two were filming a sex scene in May for Mogulettes, and placed her hand on his penis. He later called Scott into his dressing room, where she says he masturbated in front of her. When she asked what he was doing, Pardue allegedly responded, “This isn’t a #MeToo thing. I’m not your employer. It’s not like I can fire you.”

When contacted by the newspaper, Pardue apologized for placing Scott's hand on his penis, but denied her other allegations. "I clearly misread the situation during a sex scene on set and have apologized to Sarah,” the actor, who plays Frank Dean on Marvel's Runaways, said in a statement.

Scott contacted the show's producers, the Screen Actors Guild and the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund, and filed a report with the Hermosa Beach (California) Police Department. Executive producer Bennett Talsky said that when he reached out to Pardue to get his side, the actor "danced around the whole thing and never admitted to it."

Marvel's Runaways returns for its second season Dec. 21 on Hulu.
