DC Universe's Stargirl might feature an appearance from Alan Scott/Green Lantern, if a new rumor is to be believed.

Originating on the STARGIRL!!! ~ ON THE DC UNIVERSE STREAMING CHANNEL Facebook group, the rumor says Scott will play a role in the series, though exactly how much wasn't revealed. Although there's no official confirmation at this time, group member Lance Ausfresser, who provided the information, has been accurate regarding DC Universe shows in the past, particularly in regards to the casting of Pretty Little Liars star Drew Van Acker as Garth/Aqualad. No indication was given of who might play Scott.

Created by Martin Nodell, Alan Scott first appeared in 1940's All-American Comics #16. He was the first character to bear the name Green Lantern and is a founding member of the Justice Society of America, which is rumored to play a role in the series. Casting breakdowns from December indicated Scott might appear.

Arriving in 2020, DC Universe's Stargirl stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl), Joel McHale as Sylvester Pemberton (Starman), Brian Stapf as Ted Grant (Wildcat), Lou Ferrigno Jr. as Rex Tyler (Hourman) and Meg DeLacy as Cindy Burman, with Anjelika Washington, Yvette Monreal and Christopher James Baker as undisclosed DC characters.
