Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans might not recognize Chloe Bennet's Quake when she debuts in a future Marvel Cinematic Universe project.

Reliable industry source KC Walsh recently responded to a tweet that stated "[Kevin Feige and CO. are treating Agents of SHIELD as another universe. Daisy [Johnson] in 616 will have a new origin, however aspects of her AoS story will be incorporated as a nod to all of the diehard fans. The creative team behind AoS gave their blessing." Walsh confirmed that this is how Daisy Johnson, who operates as a superhero under the alias Quake, will be treated when she enters the MCU and also explained that "this is essentially how they explain the inclusion of the Netflix characters as well," referencing Charlie Cox's Daredevil and Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin, who previously returned in No Way Home and Hawkeye, respectively.

The latest report builds on another recent rumor that stated Bennet would be reprising her Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. role as Quake in a future Marvel project. When asked by a user about Bennet's MCU future as Quake, scooper MyTimeToShineHello, which previously scooped several Spider-Man: No Way Home plot points and spoilers, responded, "She's coming." Bennet had previously been rumored to be involved in Marvel Studios' upcoming series adaptation of Secret Invasion. However, the actor debunked her involvement in an Instagram story, noting, "I have avoided saying anything like this in general, on social media or whatever, because I thought maybe it would blow over, but it has not. I am in no way attached or involved, even at all or a little bit, in the Secret Invasion Marvel thing.

Will Other S.H.I.E.L.D. Actors Return to the MCU?

Other former Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars have also opened up about if they'd be interested in returning to the MCU. Adrienne Palicki, who played Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird in the series, revealed that she would return to the MCU, but only as a major X-Men character, explaining, "I’m dying to play is Rogue from X-Men." Meanwhile, Iain De Caestecker, who starred in all seven seasons of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Leo Fitz, recently said that he would probably say no if offered a chance to return as the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. "[It's] not that I didn't have a fantastic time doing [Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.]. I think, after everything that happened to those two characters [Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons], they really gave them a happy ending. And I think it would be so sad to mess with that again. It's not fair. I'm not sure they would survive it this time. So I like the idea that they're living a life of normality outside of the S.H.I.E.L.D."
