Although The Flash got an early renewal at the end of last month, a new rumor suggests that one series regular might be leaving the show.

According to We Got This Covered, Carlos Valdes, who plays Cisco Ramon/Vibe, is looking to exit the superhero series at the end of the season. However, there's no official word yet on whether this will actually be the case, so take this rumor with a grain of salt.

Valdes has been a regular since the series premiere. He’s gone on to be a staple of the Arrowverse, notably designing the suits worn by Team Arrow from Season 4 onward. Cisco has also proven to be one of the more popular on The Flash. He received his own web-series, The Chronicles of Cisco, in 2016. The show's current arc sees Cisco concocting a metahuman cure, a storyline which has been used to explain his reduced appearance for several episodes.

Valdes has already had an accomplished career outside of The Flash. He's an accomplished theater actor and musician. In 2015 he released his second EP, “Night Off,” as part of his band Tha Los.

It's entirely possible that Valdes exit will be similar to that of Jeremy Jordan, who played Winn Schott Jr. on Supergirl. Jordan's departed the show so as to appear in the Broadway play American Son. Although it doesn't seem like Jordan will appear in Supergirl Season 4 as was initially planned, he's slated to return in Season 5.
