Though Marvel Studios' The Eternals has yet to be released, a sequel is already in development.

Film pundit John Campea recently reported that The Eternals 2 is currently in development, along with 20 other Marvel Cinematic Universe projects in various stages. On Marvel Studios' decision not to announce the upcoming movie, Campea explained that a contact stated, "It's basically the same reason Avengers 5 and Eternals 2 weren't announced. They were only announcing those films up to 2023 that have verified release dates. There are over 20+ projects on the board."
