The last film in the current film Bond series has been hindered at every turn thanks to to director changes, injuries and the occasional fire on set. Now, it seems even the narrative content of the film isn't safe, as one of the major secrets of Bond 25 may have accidentally spilled, if rumors are to be believed.According to reporter Baz Bamigboye of The Daily Mail, a visitor to Pinewood Studios spotted Christoph Waltz around the set of Bond 25. The actor allegedly attempted to keep his presence a secret, telling his witness, "You haven't seen me."RELATED: Seriously, Is Bond 25 Cursed?

Waltz last appeared as Blofeld in Spectre (directed by Sam Mendes) as the head of the titular criminal organization. After a brutal fight and chase, Bond opted to keep his nemesis alive and have him arrested. It wasn't done out of mercy, but out of a desire to keep some level of humanity and separate himself from the evil he had just defeated.

Seeing as how Blofeld's influence has been one of the major point of the overarching plot, it makes sense that he would return for this James Bond's final adventure. That being said, Waltz's presence on set remains a rumor, so we cannot say with absolute certainty that Bond 25 will include the return of the infamous villain. The identity of the main antagonist -- the role currently assigned to Rami Malek -- has not yet been officially revealed.

Directed and co-written by Cary Fukunaga, Bond 25 stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen and Rami Malek. It is scheduled for release on April 8, 2020.
