Avengers: Endgame star Mark Ruffalo has joined in on the "Build an Avengers team" meme, but he admitted he's more than happy to cheat to create his perfect lineup. Ruffalo, who has played Bruce Banner/Hulk since 2012's The Avengers, unsurprisingly picked his original teammates for his squad.

Ruffalo recently took part in EW's version of the "Build Your Own Avengers" challenge. Given a budget of just $15, fans had to pick their ultimate Avengers squad from a variety of different price ranges. While War Machine cost just $1, Loki would set players back $3, and heavy hitters like Hulk and Iron Man were $5. Apart from Hawkeye, the original six were all in the $5 price range, which left Ruffalo asking, "Can I have another $14 to have the OG 6?"

Back in 2012, Joss Whedon delivered The Avengers with Ruffalo's Hulk, Chris Evans' Captain America, Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth's Thor, Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow and Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye. While other members have joined and left the team over the years, the original members have remained a constant part of the roster up until Endgame.

Despite the popularity of the original Avengers team, they aren't necessarily the most powerful. There's no denying the brute force of characters like Hulk and Thor, but both Captain Marvel and Scarlet Witch have also shown they have powers capable of taking on Thanos.

Given his role in the original six, it makes sense Ruffalo has an affinity for that iteration of the Avengers. As it stands, the shocking events of Endgame appear to have taken Steve Rogers, Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff off the table. This means viewers should prepare for a very different line-up in Phase 4 and beyond -- and that's if the Marvel Cinematic Universe even sticks with the traditional Avengers movie formula.

Directed by Cate Shortland, Black Widow -- the next MCU film -- stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, O-T Fagbenle as Rick Mason and Rachel Weisz. The film is scheduled for release Nov. 6.
