Rorschach is known for being a loner, but in a variant cover for the first issue of the upcoming 12-issue maxi-series, aptly titled Rorschach, he shows that he can make exceptions.

On the cover from artist Jae Lee, Rorschach appears notably gaunt and disheveled, wearing nothing but boxers and his iconic mask. Interestingly, the dumbbells included in the image possess features characteristic of Doctor Manhattan. Also in the image is Ozymandias' pet, Bubastis, in the form of a mirror. Bubastis is a chemically-engineered lynx that served as Ozymandias' faithful companion when he implemented his catastrophic plan in his secret base in Antarctica.
