To celebrate the release of Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame, the dark assassin known as Ronin has been added to the ever-growing roster of Kabam's popular mobile fighting game Marvel Contest of Champions.

The official Contest of Champions YouTube channel has published a video highlighting some of the unique abilities Ronin brings with him to the game.

According to the game's official site, Ronin will have a fighting style that relies heavily on bleeding his opponents dry with critical hits. He also has teh ability to quickly switch stances for different advantages in battle.

Of course, Ronin is the new alter-ego adopted by Clint Barton (played by Jeremy Renner) in Endgame after suffering a terrible loss and abandoning the mantle of Hawkeye. Created by Stan Lee and Don Heck, Clint first appeared as Hawkeye in 1964's Tales of Suspense #57, and adopted the Ronin identity in the mid-2000s.

According to Ronin's Contest of Champions bio,

Following the events of Avengers: Infinity War, Clint Barton is drawn out of retirement to don a new alter ego, Ronin — A lawless assassin with a piercing sword and incredible fighting skills who mercilessly brings criminals to justice around the world.
