Ronda Rousey Is All in For Mortal Kombat 11

Combat will soon begin again for video game fans with the upcoming release of Mortal Kombat XI, and wrestler and actress Ronda Rousey is ready to defend Earthrealm from the malevolent forces of Outworld in a new photo where she shows off her invitation to the tournament.

Rousey proudly holds the invitation to "partake" in the Mortal Kombat tournament, jokingly declaring it's the invitation she's waited her whole life for. Rousey also assures her followers that Earthrealm will be safe with her around, all while teasing big news for Thursday.

The invitation itself is particularly eye-catching, featuring a gold version of the famous Mortal Kombat logo, and the franchise title with the number 11 placed squarely in the middle. Completing the invitation is an ominous "You're Next" sitting atop the title, which doesn't bode well for the participants.

While Rousey doesn't go into too many details about what role she plays in the game, this ties into the news that the characters and gameplay for Mortal Kombat XI would be revealed on January 17th, as well as possibly tying into rumors she may voice franchise character Sonya Blade. No matter what her role turns out to be, Rousey's fans will still get a kick out of seeing her take part in the Mortal Kombat universe.

Mortal Kombat XI will release on April 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch.
