Ron Perlman Makes A Convincing Argument for Playing Cable in "Deadpool 2"

Following in the footsteps of Dolph Lundgren, Ron Perlman has now expressed interest in playing the fan-favorite mutant Cable in "Deadpool 2," releasing images of himself next to the artwork of the character.

The "Hellboy" star has started campaigning for the role -- which was confirmed for the sequel in the "Deadpool" post-credits scene -- sharing the following posts on his Facebook page:

Directed by Tim Miller, and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, "Deadpool 2" is tentatively slated for a 2017 release.
