Ron Howard has made some interesting choices for his latest movies. His last project was the comedy The Dilemma, starring Kevin James and Vince Vaughn, and he’s now in post-production on a Formula One racing film called Rush that will most likely be followed up by a documentary with Jay-Z called Jay-Z: Made in America.
Vulture reports that Howard will also work on a remake of the 2003 Israeli TV movie Kol Ma She’Yesh Li, which translates to All I’ve Got, as a theatrical feature for J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot. It will be produced through Paramount Pictures.
The film focuses on a couple that gets into a tragic car accident. The man dies while the woman continues on with her life, eventually getting married and having three kids. When the woman dies 50 years later, she’s offered a choice: stay as she is and wait for her current husband to die or return to her younger age and get reacquainted with her earlier love.
The story is described as a fantasy-thriller. All I’ve Got is the latest Israeli project being translated for American audiences after Hatufim was turned into Showtime’s Homeland and Be’Tipul developed into HBO’s In Treatment.
