"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is already in cinemas, but the featurettes keep on flowing, with the newest one focusing on the numerous filming locations around the globe.

In the video, director Gareth Edwards revealed he was "super-keen to film 'Rogue One' on location because wherever you looked, in any direction, it felt very real." What follows is a roll call of the locales, from to Jordan, where the desert scenes on Jedha were filmed, to the United Kingdom, and specifically Slough's Pinewood Studios, where the Jedha City sequences were captured. After that we're shown Iceland, which served as the backdrop for the Erso family homestead, and then the Maldives, which provided the beaches of Scarif.

The short also highlights the fact that Cardington Airfield reprised its role from 1977's "Star Wars" as the Rebel base on Yavin IV.

Directed by Edwards from a script by Gary Whitta and Chris Weitz, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. The first standalone film in the "Star Wars" saga is in theaters now.
