Ahead of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella landing on Disney+ on Feb. 12, the surviving cast of the iconic 1997 musical reunited to discuss what it was like filming the beloved project.

"It feels like we were very fortunate to be put together and nobody knows at the time you do anything, what the impact [was] going to be," Victor Garber (King Maximillian) said in a teaser from an upcoming virtual cast reunion arranged by EW. "And this has clearly had an impact and I think everyone here is really grateful to be a part of it," he added.

The clip from the virtual reunion also features Brandy (Cinderella) explaining, "I am super excited. This project changed my life. And I know it changed so many lives." She added, "And I am so happy to join you guys today and just talk about all of the time we had. And that it gets to be shared with everyone on Disney+. It's just so amazing."

Bernadette Peters -- who stepped into the role of Cinderella's stepmom -- also admitted, "It was an honor to be part of something so wonderful back then. And even now. And it was so multicultural... It's just so wonderful that children that were watching it could just enjoy it and -- all the different kinds of people that were in it -- and not even question it," the Tony winner continued. "And just enjoy it. It's wonderful, it's just wonderful."

Whoopi Goldberg (Queen Constantine) quipped, "We were Hamilton before Hamilton." It's at that point that Prince Christopher actor Paolo Montalbán chimed in, "The gauntlet has been thrown!" Brandy also responded to Whoopi's statement, saying, "I love that she can say everything that we want to say."

The virtual cast reunion was moderated by EW's Marcus Jones and also features appearances from Jason Alexander (Lionel) and Veanne Cox (Calliope). The full-length reunion will stream on Thursday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT on EW.com, as well as on EW's Facebook and YouTube page. It's unclear at this time if the reunion will pay tribute to the late Natalie Desselle and the late Whitney Houston, who starred as Minerva and Fairy Godmother, respectively.

Directed by Robert Iscove, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella stars Brandy, Whitney Houston, Paolo Montalbán, Whoopi Goldberg, Bernadette Peters, Jason Alexander, Victor Garber, Veanne Cox, and Natalie Desselle. The film starts streaming on Disney+ on Feb. 12.
