Actor and director Sylvester Stallone released a teaser clip of a documentary on the re-editing of Rocky IV, revealing this version has a new title.

Stallone posted on Instagram, "Now for some good news! We shot a full length behind the scenes documentary. While re editing ROCKY 4, This is a little taste. When the film comes out it will be called. ROCKY VS DRAGO - The ultimate directors cut. Enjoy and keep punching."

The teaser shows Stallone arriving at an office building on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles to work on the edits. "In my life as you walk forward, the ground behind you disintegrates, so there is no retreat," he says.

Stallone notes Rocky IV was released 35 years ago, saying, "When you go back and you recut your film, I guarantee you, you will approach it with sensitivity and wisdom and confidence." But then he notices something he didn't like and asks, "Why didn't I see that before?"

Released in 1985, Rocky IV is the midpoint of the saga of heavyweight boxer Rocky Balboa, who fights a match in the Soviet Union against its national champion, Ivan Drago. Rocky fights to avenge his friend Apollo Creed, who was battered in his own bout against Drago and died from his injuries. The story influenced the plot of 2018 spinoff Creed II, which pits Creed's son against Drago's son. Rocky IV grossed $127.9 million domestically and $300.5 million worldwide.

In the clip, Stallone says, "We are entitled to follow our dreams and stick to our beliefs because in the end, that's all you have. And if you keep believing in that, eventually your dreams will come true." The clip ends with a title card that reads "KEEP PUNCHING the present meets the past."

Written and directed by Sylvester Stallone, Rocky IV stars Stallone, Carl Weathers, Talia Shire, Burt Young, Brigitte Nielson and Dolph Lundgren.
