Sam Rockwell and Justin Long will reprise their roles as the Dynamic Duo in the parody Robin's Big Speed Date, director James Duffy's contribution to the newly announced untitled comedy-shorts anthology by Peter Farrelly and Charles Wessler (There's Something About Mary, Dumb and Dumber).

The short is a follow-up to 2005's hilarious Robin's Big Date, written by Will Carlough. In the original film, an obnoxious Batman (Rockwell) crashes a date between Robin (Long) and his prospective girlfriend Kate (Callie Thorn). But when Kate's actual boyfriend Tony (Josh Hamilton) arrives, he's rude to the Dynamic Duo, who soothe their hurt feelings by leaving for Aquaman's house to play his GameCube.

Production Weekly reports that Robin's Big Speed Date will co-star John Hodgman as The Penguin, Leslie Bibb as Wonder Woman and Hamilton as Superman.

The multi-sketch anthology, co-produced by Relativity Media and GreenStreet Films, has been compared to Kentucky Fried Movie and Groove Tube. The cast for the other shorts includes Gerard Butler, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Knoxville, Naomi Watts, Kate Winslett and Patrick Warburton. Filmmakers Brett Ratner, Bob Odenkirk and Griffin Dunne are also said to be involved in the project.
