After becoming a household name as a WWE Superstar, Dwayne Johnson still watches professional wrestling even after largely transitioning his career to become a Hollywood actor. While hosting a live Q&A through Instagram, Johnson revealed he still follows professional wrestling and, more interestingly, that he watches WWE's newly founded rival organization, AEW.RELATED: Vanguard 1 Shows Why AEW is Winning the 'Empty Arena Wars'

"Yeah, I watch AEW," Johnson admitted in response to a fan question. "Of course I do. I'm very happy for the success of that company because it's always a good thing and it creates a hunger, which is good."

All Elite Wrestling was founded in 2019, featuring a blend of independent wrestlers and personalities that formerly performed with the WWE, including several that directly wrestled against Johnson while he was active within the WWE.

In addition to pay-per-view events, the organization airs its weekly program AEW Dynamite every Wednesday night on TNT. Last week the organization revealed it had wrapped filming for Dynamite and would go on an indefinite hiatus due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, though it did not specify when the final new episode of Dynamite for the foreseeable future would air.
