Robot Chicken's third DC Comics special, "Robot Chicken DC Comics Special III: Magical Friendship," will debut Sunday, October 18th at midnight on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, with "Robot Chicken" season eight starting up one week later.

The special will find Superman and Batman's relationship on the outs as their competitive natures ratchet up just as the universe falls into jeopardy. The special will feature the voice talents of both Adam West and Burt Ward, the actors who played Batman and Robin on the '60s "Batman" TV show. Additionally, Seth Green, Matt Senreich, Breckin Meyer, Alfred Molina, Nathan Fillion, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Alex Borstein, Giovanni Ribisi, Jonathan Banks, Mae Whitman, Hugh Davidson, Dee Bradley Baker, Zeb Wells and Kevin Shinick will also provide voices.

The first DC Comics special aired in 2012, which featured Paul Reubens voicing the Riddler and Neil Patrick Harris voicing Two-Face. The second special aired in 2014. The special, along with "Robot Chicken's" eighth season, will debut this fall on Cartoon Network.
