Robin teases the eventual identity reveal of Respawn, as well as his relation to Deathstroke.

Respawn first appeared in Robin #1 this past year, wearing an outfit very similar to that of Slade Wilson's mercenary moniker. Damian Wayne's first words spoken to the character were, "Nice copyright infringement," with the series hinting at his connection to Deathstroke. Slade's daughter, Rose Wilson aka Ravager, has commented that his voice sounds familiar, and the fighter has acted very protective over his identity in the past, like when Damian tried to unmask him. In a preview for Robin #11 written by Joshua Williamson and with art by Gleb Melnikov, Respawn finally reveals himself to Ravager (though not the reader), hinting at his true identity.

When Rose sees Respawn's face, she immediately shifts from interrogating him to helping him escape "before anyone else finds out." The reveal shows that Respawn has the same white hair as Slade and Rose, indicating the possible familial relation. So far, Deathstroke's family tree also extends to two sons, Grant and Joesph Wilson, who are the DC characters Ravager (before Rose) and Jericho, respectively.

Currently, Deathstroke is starring in his own title alongside the Justice League's Black Canary. Deathstroke Inc. #7 is set to feature both Rose and Respawn, promising that "past secrets" will "explode" and later lead into the upcoming "Shadow War" crossover event, which will see Batman, Robin, Talia al Ghul and Deathstroke face off after the murder of Ra's al Ghul. The Deathstroke Inc. issue will also explore Deathstroke's decision to become the "King of the Super-Villains," marking an end to his time spent as an antihero.

In addition to the Wilson family drama, Robin #11 promises its own share, with its solicitation claiming that "secret crushes are revealed" and "hearts are broken." The preview shows that tension is brewing between the al Ghuls, while also confirming that Damian finally considers himself to have friends other than Jon Kent, Superman. On another note, the preview addresses the origin of the DC Universe's Lazarus Resin, which has currently been used by Amanda Waller for her Suicide Squad and to revive villains for the zombified Task Force Z led by Red Hood. The preview for Robin #11 can be found below, cover and solicitation included.
