The folks behind "The LEGO Batman Movie" have just released a new clip from their film, and this one focuses on a surprising revelation about the reggae roots of the Boy Wonder's costume.
For most movies there would probably be some concern that the filmmakers are giving away all their best jokes in the various clips and trailers, but based on the evidence available here, "LEGO Batman," like Robin's pants, is so darned packed with gags and fun film references (including a nod to "Casablanca" star Claude Rains) that it has to throw caution, and some LEGO legs, to the wind to fully let rip in all its joyful exuberance.
As Robin puts it: "Now I'm free, now I'm moving, come on Batman, let's get grooving!"
“The LEGO Batman Movie” is the first spin-off of the Golden Globe and Academy Award nominated film “The LEGO Movie.” Directed by Chris McKay, and from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, “The LEGO Batman Movie” stars Will Arnett as Batman, Michael Cera as Robin, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred, Mariah Carey as the Gotham City Mayor and Billy Dee Williams as Two-Face. The film hits theaters on February 10.
