Robert Knepper Joins ‘Twin Peaks’ Revival

Robert Knepper — best known for his roles on Fox’s “Prison Break, “the fourth season of NBC’s “Heroes” and most recently “Arrow,” “iZombie” and “The Hunger Games” — has joined the cast of David Lynch and Mark Frost’s upcoming “Twin Peaks” revival miniseries. Information about his character hasn’t been disclosed but considering his history of roles, we’re going to lay some money down on a villain or person of ill repute of some sort.

As reported by Deadline, Knepper joins the present-day continuation of the classic ’90s mystery series in a reoccurring role, similar to Amanda Seyfried.

The “Twin Peaks” Showtime revival brings back both series creators Lynch and Frost — with Lynch set to direct every episode — and series star Kyle MacLachlan. The series is slated to air in 2016.
