Robert Kirkman's Thief of Thieves Is Getting Its Own Video Game

Created by Kirkman and artist Shawn Martinbrough, the comic series follows Conrad Paulson as he tries to maintain his double life as a master thief. IGN reports that the video game adaptation, however, is set to follow the exploits of Celia, an apprentice of Paulson's. Although she was first introduced in the comic, the video game is set to delve deeper into the thief's background, fleshing out how she "became an accomplished thief of her own."

Developed by Rival Games, Skybound president Dan Murray said that the the studio is "excited to broaden Robert Kirkman’s world" using both characters that readers will recognize from the comic, while also establishing never-before-seen players.

The game is set to release on Steam in early 2018, and currently looks to be a PC exclusive. Attendees at this year's Comic-Con International in San Diego will have the opportunity to demo the title by visiting booth #241.
