Robert Downey Jr. marked Halloween 2020 by sharing a behind-the-scenes clip of himself wearing Doctor Strange's Cloak of Levitation on the set of Avengers: Infinity War.

The snippet posted across Downey's social media accounts showed the Iron Man actor smirking while wearing the cloak in front of a green screen, along with the caption, "Capes, broomsticks, cauldrons... Happy All Hallow's Eve..."

According to MovieWeb, the footage is from a deleted scene onboard Ebony Maw's spaceship, which was secretly boarded by Iron Man and Spider-Man during their rescue of Doctor Strange. Specifically, Tony Stark and Doctor Strange were supposed to exchange costumes during the scene, with Stark rocking the Cloak of Levitation and Strange suiting up in Iron Man's armor to trick Ebony Maw.

Downey posted the clip weeks after he opened up about how uncomfortable it was to wear the original Iron Man armor. At the time, he explained, "They wanted to spend as little as they could on CG replacement," he said. "So I remember this helmet went on...And it was like Manchurian Candidate... I was absolutely blinded."

While Downey's character met his fate in Avengers: Endgame, Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange is next set to appear in Spider-Man 3 and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Those films are currently scheduled for release on Nov. 5, 2021 and March 25, 2022.
