Avengers: Infinity War left a trail of human carnage, with 18 heroes lost in fewer than three hours. In some ways, it was the perfect horror movie. Knowing this, Robert Downey Jr. honored the fallen for Halloween with the scariest jack-o'-lanterns imaginable: six beautifully carved Infinity Stone pumpkins.
Each jack-o'-lantern depicts an Infinity Stone, its corresponding color, and the vessel that contained it.
The photo shared on Twitter by Downey shows a blue Tesseract pumpkin (housing the Space Stone), the Eye of Agamotto (the green Time Stone), the red Aether (Reality Stone), the purple Orb (Power Stone), Loki's yellow Chitauri scepter (Mind Stone), and what looks like the Red Skull, who was revealed in Infinity War to have been guarding the Soul Stone. Fortunately for us, these Infinity pumpkins are nowhere near as terrifying as the real thing, as Downey reminds fans that these will be thrown out once the night is over.
Are they still infinity stones if they get thrown out the day after Halloween? pic.twitter.com/T6xo9nR9Ii— Robert Downey Jr (@RobertDowneyJr) October 31, 2018
The Infinity Stones may be the most powerful force in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the only things these Infinity lanterns have decimated are the pumpkins themselves.
