Robert Downey Jr. kicked off the 2020 AGBO Superhero Fantasy Football League with a special announcement in honor of Chadwick Boseman's legacy.

On Sept. 4, the Iron Man actor posted a video on Twitter hyping up the start of a new fantasy football season and told fans that $250,000 of AGBO league's prize money will be dedicated to charities in Boseman's memory. "You can't tag up here, it's private property," Downey said to a mannequin in the video. "What a year it's been, and fantasy football is back on. Robert Downey Jr. here, I'll be playing for the AGBO Superhero League. Footprint coalition, if I win the big prize. But, that's not what matters. The cool part is that $250,000 is going to be donated to charities in Chadwick Boseman’s memory. So, we're gonna go long. We're gonna spike it in the end zone. We're gonna Hail Mary… Let the trash-talking begin!"

The AGBO Superhero Fantasy Football League was formed last year when Joe and Anthony Russo's AGBO production company partnered with ESPN's senior fantasy football analyst Matthew Berry. The league raises money for charity and comprises of some of Earth's mightiest heroes. This year, there are 14 players in the league including reigning champion Chris Hemsworth, and fan favorites Chris Evans, Ryan Reynolds and Tom Holland. Newcomers Pom Klementieff and Simu Liu were also added to the league to replace Fantastic Four heroes Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan.

This year, the AGBO superhero league teamed up with FanDuel, who will donate $1.25M throughout the entirety of the season. $1 million of that money will be contributed towards charities that each player is representing while $250,000 will be donated to charities in memory of Black Panther actor Boseman, who passed away on Aug. 28 after a long battle with colon cancer.

"This cast is like family. We love doing this together and we’re all delighted to be able to benefit our favorite charities," said AGBO founder Joe Russo. "Now we can play in a far more meaningful way thanks to the generous support of FanDuel. Most importantly, it’s an honor to dedicate this season to Chadwick. We all miss him dearly."

Check out the full team roster along with the charities they will be supporting below. The league starts Sept. 9 and fans can catch all of the action and trash-talk at agbosuperheroleague.com. The charities being supported include The Arthritis Foundation, The Rape Foundation, Footprint Coalition and more.
