Unlike with most trailers, viewers will only have to wait a few weeks to see "ARQ," the new science fiction thriller from Netflix. Available Sept. 16, "ARQ" stars Robbie Amell and Rachael Taylor in a war-ridden dystopia where the world's oil supply has finally run out.

Amell plays an engineer trapped in a house and surrounded by a mysterious gang of masked intruders. He must protect a technology that could deliver unlimited energy and end the wars that have consumed the world. However, the technology also causes him and Taylor's character to relive the same day over and over again.

Amell and Taylor are both well-known to genre fans: Amell previously played Ronnie Raymond on The CW's "The Flash" and starred on the network's short-lived "Tomorrow People," while Taylor portrayed Patsy Walker on Netflix's "Jessica Jones." She will likely return for Season 2 of the series, possibly in superhero mode as Hellcat.

"ARQ" is written and directed by Tony Elliott, who previously served as a writer and story editor on BBC America's "Orphan Black" and an executive story editor on Syfy's "Hunters."

"ARQ" premieres Sept. 9 at the Toronto International Film Festival, and will be available on Netflix beginning Sept. 16.
