As part of his daily auctions designed to help out comic book stores amid the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld created a sketch uniting Marvel's Merc with a Mouth and DC's Harley Quinn.

"SKETCH #7 Deadpool & Harley Quinn, color sketch cover!!" Liefeld wrote on Instagram. "Bid early, bid often, your winning proceeds go directly to a comic store in need! Bidding ends tomorrow at 7 p.m. pacific!"

Much like fellow comics creator Jim Lee, Liefeld has been auctioning off sketches on social media as a way to help brick and mortar comics stores stay alive during these challenging times. Liefeld has made the effort to hold the auctions daily during his downtime with the industry-wide shutdown. Through each daily auction, fans and followers get a chance to bid on the sketches with the proceeds going to a different store he has teamed up with.

For many comics stores, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has had a devastating effect, as shipments and payments have been postponed and, in some cases, even canceled. Both Liefeld and Lee's auctions are a way for the comics industry to show support -- both artistically and financially -- for many physical comics retailers as everything has come to a standstill.
