Rob Benedict and Richard Speight Jr. Successfully Crowdfund 'Kings of Con'

Rob Benedict and Richard Speight Jr., perhaps best known for their roles on The CW's fan favorite show "Supernatural," have joined forces in order to create the new webseries "Kings of Con" following a very successful Indiegogo campaign.

According to Benedict and Speight, the show will follow caricatures of themselves: Rich, "a thrice divorced former actor who’s love of the game is fueled by the faux fame he experiences at the hands of a gaggle fans who still think he matters," and Rob, "a recent divorcee back on the circuit to cover the costs of his failed marriage and stalled career." The single camera comedy will follow Rich and Rob as they tour the fan convention circuit. Combining scripted comedy and improv, it will feature guest appearances from other former and current "Supernatural" stars.

The duo took to Indiegogo in order to fund the show and surpassed their $100,00 goal in just two weeks. With more than $150,000 raised and counting, the series is currently set for 5 episodes but may add more if they surpass their current $200,000 goal.
