Ahead of its premiere early next month, The CW has released the first official poster for Riverdale Season 4.
The poster is comprised of multiple individual photos of the Archie Comics-based series' key characters, including Archie Andrews himself, Veronica Lodge, Reggie Mantle, Kevin Keller, Cheryl Blossom, Betty Cooper, Toni Topaz and Jughead Jones. The images feature a vaporwave-esque filter, as well as VHS-like distortion. Fittingly, the poster is accompanied by the tagline, "Sex. Lies. Videotapes."
The fourth season of Riverdale will follow Archie and the gang as they enter their senior year at Riverdale High School. When we last saw them, they had solved the mystery of the Gargoyle King, before immediately being presented with another conundrum: the disappearance of the townspeople who had been indoctrinated by The Farm.
Additionally, a flash-forward stinger presented another cliffhanger in the form of Jughead's own disappearance, with Archie, Betty and Veronica seemingly burning evidence (including their friend's iconic crown hat.) Notably, the previously-released Season 4 trailer deals heavily with efforts to locate Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe's best customer (among other developments.)
Returning to The CW on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. EST, Riverdale stars KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Casey Cott, Mark Consuelos, Skeet Ulrich, Marisol Nichols and Madchen Amick.
