Riverdale Season 4 has cast the role of Dodger, who is described as Archie Andrews' nemesis.

According to Deadline, actor Juan Riedinger will play Dodger on The CW shows upcoming fourth season. Riedinger previously appeared in Jennifer's Body, The Romeo Section, NarcosGood Behavior and several other shows. The role is said to be recurring, so it's unclear just how much of the character we'll get to see. It's unclear just who from the Archie Comics pantheon the character might be meant to resemble.

Although little is known about Season 4 at this time, Season 3, which proved tumultuous for many of Riverdale's key residents, ended with the reveal of the Gargoyle King's true identity, so the show will likely deal with the fallout of that. The show is set to have a special Halloween episode as well as a tribute to Luke Perry, who played Fred Andrews. Perry passed away earlier this year following a stroke.

Returning to The CW on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. EST, Riverdale stars KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Casey Cott, Mark Consuelos, Skeet Ulrich, Marisol Nichols and Madchen Amick.
