With all the crazy goings-on in Riverdale, Archie Andrews has found himself in deep trouble with the law.
Picking up after the cliffhanger events of the Season 2 finale that saw Archie framed for murder by Hiram Lodge, the father of his girlfriend Veronica, the earnest high school student is now in the crosshairs of the town's criminal prosecutor Ms. Wright played by Penelope Ann Miller. Entertainment Weekly has a first look at Miller as Wright in the midst of some intense courtroom action.

Taken from the Season 3 premiere episode titled "Labor Day", the photo teases Archie standing on trial for the suspected murder of an attempted thief during a lakeside getaway in Season 2.
With elements of the occult rising and a new serial killer targeting the citizens of the sinister small town, the end of summer for Riverdale is sure to mark a new wave of peril and intrigue for Archie and his friends.
