Riverdale Photos Give First Look at Jughead's Mom and Sister

Riverdale Season 3

New photos from the upcoming eighth episode of CW's Riverdale Season 3 give a first look at Gladys and Jellybean Jones, who will debut in that episode.

The images show Gina Gershon, who plays Gladys, and Trinity Likins, who plays Jellybean. Gladys and Jellybean are, respectively, the mother and sister of Jughead Jones. According to descriptions of the characters, Gladys is a businesswoman and former Serpent with a GED "who runs the salvage yard (chop shop) that doubles as a Serpent compound." When Gladys gives an order, the Serpents jump to attention. Likins' Jellybean lives with her mom in Toledo, is wise beyond her years and is a con artist, just like Gladys.

Gershon and Likins were cast as Gladys and Jellybean in October. The two have not yet appeared on screen, though dialogue from the show has already revealed that they live in Toledo. The episode's synopsis also teases further revelations about the show's Griffins & Gargoyles plot as Veronica takes on Hiram Lodge. "Outbreak" will air on Dec. 12.
