After launching at the start of the month, Quibi has begun to expand its development slate of original programming, tapping Riverdale and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

Aguirre-Sacasa will develop his 2009 stage play Good Boys and True for the digital platform, serving as series writer and executive producer through his production company Muckle Man Productions and Warner Bros. Television.

Set in the fall of 1988, the play follows six individuals who are drawn together when a graphic tape surfaces at St. Joe's, a prep school just outside of Washington, D.C. No release date or cast have been announced for the adaptation.

Quibi is developed by former Walt Disney Studios chairman Jeffrey Katzenberg. It has stationed itself as a streaming platform for those who are looking to watch something quick or on-the-go. With this audience in mind, original content on the platform runs for 10 minutes or less, with short-form television series told in serialized chapters.
