The Thanagarians are on their way to "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" -- at least, according to Zaman Druce. In a new clip from "Destiny," Rip Hunter learns why the Time Masters are working with Vandal Savage, and it involves this warlike alien race.

In the comics, the planet Thanagar is deeply related to Hawkman and Hawkgirl's mythology. Originally, the two were part of this alien race; both Katar Hol and his wife Shayera were members of an elite Hawk-Police unit. The two traveled to Earth in pursuit of a shapeshifter, where they stayed to learn more from the human race. Thanagar attempted to take over Earth several times, though Hawkman and Hawkgirl leapt to its defense. It is unclear if "Legends'" version of Thanagar will be related to the Hawks in any capacity, as the show has clearly embraced another of the Hawks' more recent origin stories.
