Rick and Morty Season 5 now has a trailer and a premiere date.

The new season of Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland's hit Adult Swim series will premiere on Sunday, June 20 at 11 p.m. ET/PT. This is slightly over a year since the finale of Season 4, making for the shortest wait between Rick and Morty seasons so far.

The Rick and Morty Season 5 trailer showcases a variety of new adventures, including parodies of Hellraiser, Voltron, Blade and "a strange, horny ocean man" who looks like a hybrid of Aquaman and Namor the Sub-Mariner.

Many scenes show the full Smith family going on adventures together. This deviates from the typical Rick and Morty formula of dividing up family members into A-plots and B-plots, with the nihilist mad scientist Rick and his anxious grandson Morty typically the main focus.

Other storylines previewed include a showdown between two different Ricks and crystals revealing alternate realities, including an Easter egg cameo from the original The Real Animated Adventures of Doc and Mharti Channel 101 pilot.

Rick and Morty stars the voices of Justin Roiland, Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammar and Sarah Chalke. Season 5 premieres Sunday, June 20 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim.
