Following the most recent episode, Rick and Morty Season 4 has been Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, earning a perfect 100%.To celebrate this notable achievement, Rotten Tomatoes posted a congratulatory message on Twitter, citing the season as "both an exciting progression and a delightful return to form that proves more than worth the two-year wait."
Rick and Morty Had Its Most Uncomfortable Scene Yet
With 29 reviews on the books, the 100% on the Tomatometer makes Season 4 the highest-rated season to date. The Adult Swim series has always been a favorite for Rotten Tomatoes users, and it' scores have not dropped below 90% for any of the four seasons, but this marks an all-time high for the show.
Unfortunately, this also marks the last of this year's episodes, and there is little information about when the last half of the season will air. However, even with the inevitable wait, the show will live on through its streaming deals with both Hulu and HBO Max, so fans won't have to go long without reliving the adventures of the eponymous characters.
Seasons 1-3 of Rick and Morty are available to stream on Hulu, and HBO Max launches in May 2020.
