The creators of Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, have said Kanye West is welcome to write or appear on an episode of the show if he wants.
During an interview with TheBlast.com, Harmon and Roiland said they love Kanye and described the rapper as a "kindred spirit" and a "genius." Near the end of the interview, Harmon exclaimed, "I’m giving him an episode, I’m making it official."
Kanye is certainly a fan, claiming several times that Rick and Morty is his favorite show. He even said as much when asked by a paparazzi in the above video.
Still, even if West does agree to collaborate on an episode, it's unlikely it will be in Season 4. The fourth season of Rick and Morty is set for a November 2019 release, so it's probably too far along in production.
Kanye is just one in a list of celebrity fans of Rick and Morty that includes Elon Musk.
Created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, Rick and Morty stars Justin Roiland, Sarah Chalke, Chris Parnell and Spencer Grammer. Season 4 will debut on Adult Swim in November.
