Rhys Ifans stays pretty busy even if he didn't get to take a bow in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 over the weekend. He's playing Dr. Curt Connors in The Amazing Spider-Man and he's got a pivotal role in Roland Emmerich's upcoming Shakespeare thriller Anonymous. Blockbusters, the lot of them. Add one more to the list, as it sounds like Ifans may be joining the cast of the next James Bond movie.
Director Sam Mendes has apparently cast the actor in an unspecified role, according to an anonymous source speaking to The Telegraph. There's not much more to reveal, though the source also re-confirms earlier reports that Javier Bardem will play the movie's villain, adding that much of the filming will take place in South America.
It's all technically rumor for now, but what do you think of the casting?
