Flash's Rogues are some of the coolest supervillains in the all of comics. They may be criminals, but they have principles and honor that make them so very compelling and entertaining. However, not all of his villains are as principled as they are. One of them is quite opposite: Eobard Thawne, the Reverse Flash.

Reverse Flash is a psychopath every bit as fast as Flash. In the past, he has targeted Flash's loved ones, killing Flash's mom. Thawne is the worst of the worst basically and he has the power to put down many a hero. So, if he ran himself into the Marvel Universe, what heroes would full before his superspeed blitzkrieg? Who could withstand his fury long enough to take him down?

10 Would Lose To: Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange has too many weapons for the Reverse Flash. Sure, Thawne is fast, but Strange could sense him coming. He would be able to predict his actions. He could probably even use a spell to slow him down long enough to hit him with some other spells.

It's rare for anyone to outclass a superspeedster from the DC Universe. The Speed Force gives them so much power. However, Strange has all the powers of magic on his side. Not only would this be an equalizer to Thawne's speed, but it would allow him to take down the psychotic speedster.

9 Would Defeat: Quicksilver

Quicksilver is fast. So fast that he gets annoyed with the people around him and how slow they are. However, compared to any speedster from the DC Universe, he's a turtle. He couldn't hang with any of them and that definitely goes for the Reverse Flash.

Reverse Flash is so fast he can travel through time unaided. He can break the dimensional barrier. Quicksilver can run a few hundred miles an hour, more if he pushes himself. Thawne would mock him mercilessly as he avoided his superspeed blows and then take him out with one punch.

8 Would Lose To: Makkari

Makkari is one of the Eternals and probably the fastest being on Earth. He could match Reverse Flash's speed, but it's his extra powers that win the battle for him. See, as an Eternal, Makkari also has superstrength, durability, can manipulate cosmic energy, transmute matter, and do all kinds of other things.

Not only could Makkari trade superfast blows with Thawne, he would be able to hit him with superstrength. He could blast him with cosmic energy. He could turn the ground under Thawne into tar, slowing him down for a moment. He can just do too many things that Thawne has no answer for.

7 Would Defeat: Speed

Speed is Tommy Shepherd and he's the genetic reincarnation of one of Scarlet Witch and Vision's children. It's just as complicated as it sounds. A member of the Young Avengers, the superfast mutant started life as a criminal before joining the team and finding his family.

Speed is fast. It's in his name. Unfortunately for him, he's not fast enough. The Negative Speed Force gives Reverse Flash a distinct advantage in speed over the young hero and that's all he needs. Reverse Flash would run circles around the teen, hitting him blows that the kid would be too slow to avoid.

6 Would Lose To: Jean Grey

Jean Grey using her telepathy

Jean Grey is one of the most powerful telepath in the Marvel Universe. Combine that with her vast telekinetic power and she's one of the most formidable beings around. Reverse Flash is fast, but Jean's mental powers will act as an equalizer.

She could sense him coming. She could fool him into thinking he was attacking her when really he's just hitting the air. She could reach into his mind and switch him off. She can grab him telekinetically and bash him against everything around him. Jean Grey just plain outclasses him.

5 Would Defeat: Spider-Man

Spider-Man has fought superfast enemies before, but none on the level of Reverse Flash. There's a chance that he might be able to hit Thawne with his webbing, but Thawne could just vibrate through it. His spider sense would try and warn him about Thawne's attacks, he just wouldn't be fast enough to avoid them.

It would be a new feeling for Spider-Man to be so thoroughly outclassed, but Thawne is just too fast for him. His ability to vibrate through matter would negate Spider-Man trying to trap him somewhere his speed doesn't give him an advantage. Spider-Man would be too slow to defend himself and couldn't mount an offense against the Reverse Flash.

4 Would Lose To: Magneto

Magneto may not be as fast as the Reverse Flash. He might not be able to sense him coming. However, he's the Mutant Master of Magnetism and he can do all kinds of other stuff. For instance, he can just fly above Thawne, making it nearly impossible for Thawne to hit him. He can shield himself from Thawne's attacks and use the metal around them as weapons.

However, Magneto's biggest weapon against Thawne is his ability to control the iron in Reverse Flash's blood. It doesn't matter how fast he's moving- Magneto can stop him and pummel him with metal. Or he can just stop Thawne's blood flow. Simply put, Thawne can't hang with Magneto.

3 Would Defeat: Hulk

Hulk may be the strongest one there is, but strength isn't everything in this fight. Reverse Flash could avoid any blow Hulk threw or just vibrate through them. This would anger the Hulk and he would get stronger. It wouldn't matter. What can't be caught can't be hit.

Thawne, though, could hit the Hulk. However, even at superspeed it would hard for him to hurt the Hulk. However, if he hit Hulk at the speed of light, which he could, the punch would have infinite mass behind it and Hulk couldn't take that kind of hit. He could even vibrate Hulk's heart out of his chest.

2 Would Lose To: Iron Man

Iron Man wins this fight for two reasons- he can stay out of Reverse Flash's way and computer targeting. See, Thawne could use his superspeed blows to destroy Iron Man's armor pretty easily if they went head to head. He could even vibrate his hits through the armor, hitting Stark directly. Much like against the Hulk, he could vibrate a vital organ out of Stark.

However, Stark is smart enough to get some separation and rain attacks down on Thawne. This would be a diversionary tactic- he would be blasting the ground up, making it hard for Thawne to get up to speed, limiting his options. This would slow Thawne down just enough for Iron Man's computer targeting to be able to hit Thawne, taking him down.

1 Would Defeat: Captain America

Captain America has dealt with all kinds of threats over the years. He's even dealt with some superfast ones and has most definitely trained against Quicksilver. However, as discussed earlier, Thawne is on another level of speed from Quicksilver, the kind that Cap just isn't ready to deal with.

Cap couldn't use his shield to block Thawne's blows. He couldn't hit Thawne back. He's not fast enough to avoid Thawne's shots. His only hope is that Thawne gloats too much and makes a mistake, but even then, Thawne is used to taking multiple punches at superspeed. He can take whatever Cap dishes out and rev up the speed again, hitting Cap a thousand times in a second. Cap just couldn't handle Thawne.
