Resident Evil: The Final Chapter Debuts Explosive New TV Spots

Preview Alice's final journey in two new TV spots for the last Resident Evil installment to hit the big screen: The Final Chapter.

As fans eagerly await the seventh iteration of the "Resident Evil" video game series, titled "Biohazard," they can quench their thirst with new TV spots for the sixth and final movie based off the popular video game franchise. "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" tells the story of... well, the final tale of Alice (Milla Jovovich) and her pursuit against The Umbrella Corporation.

Highlighting footage from the domestic and international trailers for the film, each 30 second spot does a nice job of selling the essentials. It's been a long journey through five movies, and Alice is going back to where her story first began: The Hive.

Located in Raccoon City, and the Umbrella Lab with the worst safety protocols, The Hive was the beginning of the end of the world, after the T-Virus was released there in the 2002 film that kicked off the long-running franchise. Alice's world has now come full circle, and a final showdown with Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts) and the evil A.I.that controls everything, the Red Queen (Ever Gabo Anderson), is long overdue. Luckily, "The Final Chapter" is here to deliver.

Written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Ruby Rose, Iain Glen and Shawn Roberts. The film hits theaters on Jan. 27, 2017.
