Capcom announced a line of perfumes based on the protagonists of its long-running Resident Evil survival horror franchise.

Coinciding with the 25th anniversary of Resident Evil, the line features fragrances inspired by Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine, all fan-favorite heroes that appear throughout the series. Chris and Jill first appeared in the original Resident Evil game, which was released in 1996, while Leon debuted in 1998's Resident Evil 2

Capcom released official descriptions of each perfume, revealing that Chis' fragrance is a fougère with hints of cloves and black pepper, intended to remind wearers of the heroism of the grizzled zombie-killing veteran. Leon's fragrance, in contrast, is a citrusy blend designed to create a refreshing, cool feel. Finally, Jill's fragrance is described as a sweet smell reminiscent of fruit and evocative of the character's intelligence and sense of justice.

The Resident Evil perfumes are currently only available on the Japanese Capcom store as a collection of three 10ml bottles selling for 6,380 yen, or about $58 at the time of writing.
