The release of Capcom's enhanced remake of Resident Evil 3 is less than a month away, but players will be able to re-immerse themselves in a frightening new vision of Raccoon City even sooner.

Capcom has announced Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City Demo, the release title for the demo, will be available March 19 for Xbox One at 12 a.m. ET and 1 p.m. ET later that day on PlayStation 4 and PC. The demo will include a game mode that sees players search and destroy 20 Mr. Charlie statues strewn throughout the city while being hunted by Nemesis, the game's primary antagonist.

Additionally, Capcom will release an open beta for the game's multiplayer mode, Resident Evil Resistance, starting March 27. This mode sees players take on a mastermind character who develops traps and hazards to impede the main group's escape. The beta will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 starting at 3 a.m. ET and 1 p.m. for PC, running until the game's release on April 3.

A remake of 1999's Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for the original PlayStation, the game centers on police officer Jill Valentine, who returns to her home in Raccoon City only to discover it has plunged into an undead apocalypse, with a genetically-enhanced monstrosity known as the Nemesis stalking her throughout the city streets.
