Marvel is reportedly developing a TV series based on the Young Avengers.
SuperBroMovies' Daniel Richtman claims Marvel is "developing a Young Avengers/Champions show for Disney+. A movie is possible but I hear they really want it to be a limited series."
Marvel already seems to be slowly building toward some sort of Young Avengers project. An older version of Cassie Lang (aka Stature) was introduced in Avengers: Endgame. Furthermore, the upcoming Disney+ series Hawkeye will follow Kate Bishop -- a prominent member of the Young Avengers -- as she trains to be a hero under Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner). Finally, Marvel also announced that Ms. Marvel will be getting her own series on Disney+. The stretchy hero is a member of the Champions, so seeing her appear in a Young Avengers film or TV series would not be a surprise.
If this report is correct, it would not be the first time Marvel built up a team of superheroes through their individual TV shows. Marvel Television followed a similar strategy with The Defenders, introducing the four main heroes -- Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist -- in solo series before bringing them all together for the crossover.
