Mulan is a live-action remake based on the animated Disney film that premiered in 1998. The film will continue Disney's current trend of doing live-action remakes of its classic animated films, including The Lion King, Dumbo, Aladdin and Beauty & The Beast.

Not much has been revealed about the plot of Mulan, though it will feature many of the main characters from the animated classic. However, unlike the animated film, it is rumored that the remake won't feature characters singing classic songs or Mushu.
