Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is reportedly producing the show. In 2017, Feige revealed Alexander did not reprise her role as Lady Sif for Ragnarok due to a scheduling conflict. However, Alexander has expressed interest in returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In addition to this series, Marvel Studios is working on a solo series focused on Loki, which a new rumor suggests will see actor Tom Hiddleston narrate events from the character's past. There is also a series called Vision and the Scarlet Witch in development. Additional rumors have suggested streaming series titled Rocket and Groot, Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Nick Fury.
