Following rumors Michael Keaton -- star of 1989's Batman -- will appear on a newspaper during the Arrowverse's upcoming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover, a new report claims another actor from Tim Burton's film will make an appearance: Robert Wuhl.
According to Canadagraphs, Wuhl was spotted on set filming a scene for the crossover. As per that outlet, Wuhl is "reading a newspaper, and he looks up into the sky" in his scene. Wuhl played Gotham Globe reporter Alexander Knox in the 1989 Batman film, so that may be who he is here, as the outlet identifies his universe as "Earth 89," though it's unclear if that's an official designation or if Wuhl is indeed playing Knox again. Additionally, it's unclear if the newspaper mentioned here is the same one that is supposed to feature Keaton's Bruce Wayne or a different one entirely.
"Crisis on Infinite Earths" is set to feature a lot of returning actors from various DC shows over the decades, including Burt Ward, Tom Welling, Erica Durance and many, many more. At this time, Wuhl's involvement has not been officially confirmed.
"Crisis on Infinite Earths" begins Sunday, Dec. 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Supergirl, then continues in Batwoman on Monday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and in The Flash on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. After the winter hiatus, the crossover will conclude on Tuesday, Jan. 14 in Arrow at 8 p.m. ET/PT and in DC's Legends of Tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
