A new report has seemingly revealed the identities of the voice actors involved in Batman: Hush, the upcoming adaptation of the 2002-2003 Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee storyline, scheduled for release this summer.

According to Revenge of the Fans, voice actors Jason O’Mara, Jerry O’Connell, Tara Strong, Rainn Wilson, Bruce Thomas and Vanessa Williams have signed on to the project, although the report does not included the names of the characters they will be playing. Given their prior projects, though, some reasonable assumptions can be made about what characters the cast will voice in the story about Batman facing friend and foe in a gauntlet orchestrated by the mysterious Hush.

Jason O’Mara has portrayed Bruce Wayne/Batman in all of the New 52-centric films, such as Justice League: War, Batman vs. Robin, Justice League Dark and The Death of Superman, so there’s a strong chance he’ll return as the voice of the Dark Knight.

Jerry O’Connell may have originally voiced Captain Marvel in Justice League Unlimited, but he has been the voice for Clark Kent/Superman in Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, Justice League vs. Teen Titans and The Death of Superman. With O’Connell reprising the role in the upcoming sequel Reign of the Supermen, it’s a safe bet that he’ll be voicing the Boy Scout -- as Batman calls him.

Tara Strong’s voice acting credits have spanned childhoods, but she has been a consistent voice actor for Joker’s accomplice and sometimes love interest, Harley Quinn, voicing the character in video games, animated shows and the animated movies Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay and Batman Ninja, among others.

Rainn Wilson recently made his first DC appearance as Lex Luthor in The Death of Superman, and with him reprising the role of Superman’s archenemy in Reign of the Supermen, he may voice Lex during his brief appearance.

Bruce Thomas has portrayed a number of characters in other DC projects, such as Green Lantern: Emerald Knights and Justice League: Gods and Monsters, but he also voiced Commissioner James Gordon in Son of Batman and Batman: Bad Blood. With Jim Gordon’s appearance in Hush, there is a good chance Thomas may reprise his portrayal of the longtime Batman ally.

Actress and singer Vanessa Williams voiced Suicide Squad director Amanda Waller in Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay, and perhaps she’ll be returning to voice the ruthless government official who has no problem standing up to anybody, including Batman.

Batman: Hush is currently scheduled to be released this summer.
