2020 has been a big year for the Star Wars character Ahsoka Tano. Between the character bursting back onto the scene with the release of The Clone Wars' Seventh Season and rumors of Rosario Dawson's potential casting for The Mandalorian Season 2, Ahsoka has been circulating headlines quite often. Ahsoka Tano first appeared in 2008's Star Wars: The Clone Wars film which predated the series of the same name. Introduced as Anakin's rambunctious new young Padawan, Ahsoka Tano soon made a name for herself.

The character would go on to become a lead in The Clone Wars cartoon which recently aired its final episode. Tano was one of the sole survivors of Darth Sidious' deadly Order 66. She also appeared in Star Wars Rebels for brief cameos, including a showdown with her former Jedi master, Anakin Skywalker (then going by Darth Vader).

Ahsoka was also the subject of a fan-favorite Star Wars novel, Ahsoka. Written by E.K. Johnston, the novel explores Ahsoka's life after leaving the Jedi Order and before her appearance in the aforementioned Rebels series.
